GET THE MOST FROM YOUR SESSION:

Schedule a time when you can follow treatment with 2 hours of inactivity

or of minimal activity.

 

On the day of treatment:

  • Be well hydrated and bring at least another 16 oz. of water with you.
  • You will remain dressed during treatment:  wear loose, comfortable clothing.
  • For your first session arrive 10 minutes early to complete a medical history form.
  • Postpone treatment if you have symptoms of a cold, flu, or similar viral or bacterial infection.  (You need rest.  Treatment at this time could overload your body.)

 

Follow-up:

 DRINK PLENTLY OF FLUIDS!

Think of your body as “wet cement” that needs restful time to "set" after treatment. In ideal circumstances, do the following:

  • minimal activity for the first 2 hours (rest, read a book, watch a movie)
  • calm activity for 24 hours (no weight-lifting,  no jogging, etc.)

 

One-hour treatments continue within the body making changes, corrections, improvements for up to 48-hours.  (You are “working out” internally for up to 2 days, so help your body heal by keeping  external activity to a minimum.)

Note changes in sleep, appetite, pain level, etc. during/after this 48-hour period.
